If, instead, you use a variable as the argument - let's call it FollowObject - then the camera will follow whatever object that variable points to.<br />When the Player is created, you could say "Camera.FollowObject = id;" and when the Player dies you could say "Camera.FollowObject = PlayerDead;". Example if player dies and change to obj_player_dead will the camera still try to follow? Will this become a issue; for instants unknown player X. Y. How will I resolve this? Sorry for asking so much questions but I still am learning GML. Anyway thanks for this I'll read the tutorial and try to implement this into my game.
